The University of Ottawa is proud to take part in a French dictation competition know as the Dictée P.G.L. de la Francophonie! Test your knowledge of French by taking this dictation read by Pierre-Olivier Zapp (TVA Nouvelles). No need to be unbeatable in dictation to enter this one!
Event details:

12 p.m.: Dictation read by Pierre-Olivier Zappa
12:30 p.m.: Antidote version of the dictation revealed
If you don’t wish to attend the discussion panel and only wish to take the French dictation, please arrive no later than 11:45 a.m.
To get to the University, you can take the LRT or the University shuttle by presenting your student or employee ID card (check the shuttle schedule).
You must write the dictation by hand, so bring a few blank sheets of paper and a pen.
The person who wins the dictation competition on February 27 will have the opportunity to participate in the finals, which will be held at HEC Montreal on March 21 and will feature a cocktail dinner and prizes. The University will cover the winner’s travel costs.
From now until February 27, why not complete some online exercises to prepare!
But space is limited, so register today.
