K-12 Chess Tournament - MARCH

All K-12 chess players are welcome!

USCF players and non-USCF members can attend.

Parents are welcome to play. Purchase the parent admission as an add-on ticket at a discounted rate.

Each game is 20 minutes long for each player; which is 40 minutes total time for each round .

There are 3 rounds in the tournament with 5-minute breaks between rounds.

This tournament has multiple sections and game times depending on the number of participants, ratings and/or age.

We use tie-breaking rules when appropriate.

Please bring your clock and regulation chess set if you have them. We do have some chess sets on hand to loan out.

Awards: We will award trophies or ribbons.

We are currently accepting applications for membership in the Lone Kings Chess Academy of San Diego. We offer chess classes and tournaments. We also offer personalized chess lessons for chess players of all ages.
