Lena Jones investigates murders in a northern Arizona town, she finds a community in turmoil over the opening of a new uranium mine ten miles from the Grand Canyon. She also uncovers a 60-year-old injustice caused by atmospheric testing of nuclear bombs in Nevada affecting the residents who are downwinders from the test site.

As an added treat, every month we'll sample a new artisanal tea from RibbonsTeaHouse and vintage vinyl from Deadwax Records as we explore engaging books together.
Whether you are an avid reader or just looking for a pleasant way to spend an evening, our book club welcomes everyone. Meetings will be on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM. We look forward to evenings of great books, fine teas, and engaging discussion!
