About this Event

We’re delighted to hold this regional lymphoma day as a face-to-face event in Newcastle, and welcome you whether you are new to lymphoma, have been living with lymphoma for a while, or are supporting someone who has been diagnosed with lymphoma.

Here are 5 reasons why you should join us:

1. You'll have lots of opportunities to meet and share experiences with others with lymphoma.

2. Medical professionals will talk about new and future treatments for lymphoma, how to manage symptoms such as fatigue and the importance of diet and exercise.

3. Hear a personal experience of being diagnosed with lymphoma from our Lymphoma Action volunteers.

4. You will have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions in the Q & A sessions.

5. Find out about how Lymphoma Action can support you.

You can download a copy of the programme here.

Please note this is a draft programme and is subject to change.

What can I expect from the day?

The general 'feel' of the event is warm and welcoming, and we aim to be approachable, understandable, informative and uplifting. We welcome people with any type of lymphoma at any stage of their journey. The audience will typically include individuals:

  • newly diagnosed
  • on active monitoring (watch and wait)
  • currently in treatment
  • recently finished treatment
  • many years beyond treatment
  • those who are supporting family or friends with lymphoma

You may be entirely new to Lymphoma Action, or you may have attended our conferences/events before to meet others and keep up to date with the latest information.
