Join us for the Regional Career Practitioners’ Conference on Wednesday 31 July 2024
Network with other practitioners, hear from LTU's professional and academic staff and receive valuable updates to relay back to your students prior to heading into VTAC opening for the 2025 intake
The conference lineup includes:
- Warm welcome from Associate Professor Melanie Bish (Pro Vice-Chancellor (Regional))
- Keynote presentation on La Trobe's evolving approach to preparing pre service teachers with Melissa Barnes (Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning, School of Education)
- Presentation and Q&A session with Elise Joosten, VTAC's Engagement Manager
- Presentation with Associate Professor Brett Gordon (Head of Department of Rural Clinical Sciences), highlighting La Trobe Rural Health School's commitment to students of regional origin and how their linking their work to the Health Portfolio Innovation project
- Course showcase on the Bachelor of Outdoor and Sustainability Education
Plus, you'll have the opportunity to learn directly on the student experience with a student panel during the lunch break, hearing how having their tertiary education in a regional community has been beneficial for current La Trobe students.
