The Mandurah Regional Business Engagement Forum is an exciting opportunity to hear about upcoming local public and private work, incentives to engage new staff and a number of available grant funding programs. A $100,000 Local Capability Fund grant round will also be launched, to support businesses in the Peel to build their capability, capacity and competitiveness.
Hosted by the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) the Mandurah Regional Business Engagement Forum is designed for WA small and medium-sized enterprises across all sectors, operating in the Peel region.
You will hear about a variety of Government funding available to SMEs, including grants and incentives available to support start-ups, apprentices and trainees, and those looking to contract to Defence. There will also be opportunity to network with officers from a range of Government agencies, the region's Local Content Advisor and industry groups, who can help link your business to relevant support, work and programs.
Presenters include:
• JTSI presenting on government policy and initiatives to assist businesses, and the exciting launch of the $100,000 round of the Local Capability Fund for small and medium enterprises in the Peel region;
• The Department of Training and Workforce Development covering an overview of the WA labour market and exploring financial incentives for employing apprentices and trainees.
• A multiagency overview of Government contract opportunities and work packages expected in the region over the next 12-24 months.
Registrations open at 5am for a 7.30am start.
