BUCKET BRIGADE
Duration: 1 hour
Recommended Grades: Pre-K to 3rd
Ringing bells, passing buckets, yelling “Fire!” and having fun are required. Surrounded by gleaming fire engines, students learn about the evolution of
firefighting technology and fire safety. Plenty of hands-on activities. Includes time in the discovery
room!
SCIENCE OF FIRE SAFETY
Duration: 1 hour
Recommended Grades: 4th to 8th
This STEM program is all about the science of fire itself, different ways to put out a fire, and how to stop them from happening in the first place. Discover
the scientific composition of a fire, why fireworks look so cool, and why sometimes water is just more fuel for the fire.
COST: $7 per person, 1 parent permitted for free
