ROOTZ WITHIN // non-traditional reggae
Rootz Within is a non-traditional reggae rock band spreading a positive message of community & personal growth for 10 years now. With relatable lyrics & catchy hooks, they craft a signature island sound with elements of rock, funk, & jamband-like improvisation upon a smooth reggae foundation.
Over the last 10 years, Rootz Within has performed at venues, festivals, & private events across the Upper Midwest to the Rockies, Pacific Northwest, and Hawaiian Islands. They have played alongside many notable artists in the reggae genre including several legendary international artists (Alborosie, Luciano, and Clinton Fearon among others) and national touring acts (Tropidelic, Mike Love, Kyle Smith, Safety Orange, and many others). Rootz Within has also released two full-length albums, Aloha Aina (2017) and Incrementum (recorded at world-reknowned Pachyderm Recording Studio in 2022), as well as their first single Roll'n Up (Ganja) featuring Reggae Rapids in 2023.
MARC GORDON AND THE RHYTHM RIDERS // indie reggae
Marc Gordon is a musician from St. Cloud MN. He’s been playing guitar and writing songs for 20+ years but within the last 5 he’s been dedicated to learning how to record, produce and release his music independently. His sound is heavily influenced by reggae artist Stick Figure and indie rock band Built to Spill. Joined by Jon Schulte on drums and Galen Gould on bass as The Rhythm Riders, bringing a full band sound to Marc’s live show.
THERAPY DOG// folk & soul
Therapy Dog is an original artist from Little Falls, MN who has been writing music for 15 years. His folky, soulful sound is inspired by his travels across the ever-changing landscape of the U.S.
Project 37 is a non-profit with a mission to provide spaces and opportunities for all ages to enjoy music in safe and sober environments. You can help us continue that goal by coming to shows, following us on social media, or telling people about what we do.
