Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Yaadcore is a pioneering force in the reggae revival movement, seamlessly blending roots reggae with modern influences. As a DJ turned artist, he’s known for his conscious lyrics, hypnotic rhythms, and groundbreaking work in spreading reggae culture worldwide. Before stepping into the spotlight as a recording artist, he was the official tour DJ for Protoje, playing a key role in the reggae revival scene. With hits like The Calling and Ready Now, Yaadcore continues to elevate the genre with his unique sound and visionary approach.

As the founder of Rice & Peas, NYC’s legendary dancehall party, and co-creator of LargeUp, a premier platform for Caribbean culture, he has been instrumental in pushing reggae, dancehall, and soca to the forefront. With his seamless blends, deep selections, and passion for Caribbean music, DJ Gravy continues to elevate the sound and culture worldwide.
