About this Event
Discover the power of nature-led farming on our Regenerative Agriculture Tour at Union Grove Farm & Vineyard. Just outside of Chapel Hill, our farm is home to beautiful seedless Muscadine table grapevines, raised using sustainable, holistic practices that work with the land—not against it.
This guided tour takes you through our working vineyard and pastures, where you'll learn how we use cover crops, composting, vermicomposting, and rotational grazing to build healthy soil, support biodiversity, and naturally capture carbon—all while producing delicious grapes and regenerating the land for future generations.
- 🐑 Meet our Katahdin sheep and see firsthand how livestock play a critical role in maintaining a resilient, closed-loop ecosystem.
- 🪱 Visit our vermicompost lab, home to 100,000 hardworking red wiggler worms who help us create nutrient-rich, chemical-free fertilizers.
- 🌾 Stroll through our green pastures, and explore the value of cover crops, irrigation ponds, pollinator habitats, beehives, and more.
Whether you’re a gardener, foodie, environmentalist, or simply curious about where your food comes from, this experience offers an inspiring look at what’s possible when we farm with the future in mind.
Tours run rain or shine—just like farmers do. At Union Grove Farm, it’s always a
grape day 🍇
