Regency & Federal Era Fashions - prepare for Lafayette's Ball!
Come join us at Greenlee Tavern at Mountain Run Winery for a Workshop on the Fashions for 1824-1825 - the Regency/Federal era. Similar to Jane Austin and Bridgeton, though specific to American fashions. Learn how and why they wore these particular fashions - how to create your own, commission your costume or how to create an ensemble from off the rack pieces.
Workshop is led by Elaine Sturgeon of the Rappahannock Colonial Heritage Society, Inc - who is also our Dance Mistress the Virginia Country Dance Classes.
Mountain Run Winery will be offering wine, beer and mead for your enjoyment during the workshop.
