The West Coast Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to present a concert demonstrating the power and complexity of the pipe organ. The orchestra alone begins the evening with a cheeky take on one of the most famous organ masterpieces, Bach's Toccata and Fugue. After Debussy’s poetry-inspired ‘Petite Suite’, we will be joined by UBC's rising star, Issac Howie*, who will wow us with his finesse and command of the beautiful Kenneth Jones-designed Christ Church Cathedral organ to play Saint-Saens’ famous symphony. This not to be missed concert will have you resonanting with majestic melodies for days to come!Program:
