Refugee Voices Launch event

Like migration, arts and crafts are as old as humans; they transcend language and cultural barriers, opening doors to new possibilities for sharing and expression. Join us to celebrate thousands of artists who leave their home each year in pursuit of freedom. Their routes are varied and experiences are diverse but they all have one thing in common: their refuge in art.

Visit this inspiring work of local artists from across the globe: Watch their stories, listen to their music, view their visual arts and add to a collaborative art piece .

A vegan buffet will be provided by Co-Exist Community Kitchen and there will be a pay bar. The event is suitable for all ages, and the venue is accessible.

Our tickets are pay what you can, so that no-one is excluded. We suggest a donation of £10 per head to cover food costs, but please just contribute as much or as little as you are able. Any profits will go to Bristol Refugee Artists Collective.

Please travel sustainably to the event if you can. The venue is a 10 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads or a few minutes walk from The Centre bus stop. There are a number of bike racks behind the M Shed.
