LONG ROAD TO A NEW LIFE 2The effort continues to reunite the seven-member Htoo family with loved ones already in Saskatoon … Displaced from (then) Burma over 20 years ago, the family currently waits in a refugee camp in Thailand. We are raising emergency interim funds for them.
In celebration of the 5th Anniversary of NUTFLAKES (Christ Church’s video store), we invite you to a fundraising banquet for the family at Christ Church (515 28th St W) on Saturday, February 7th – doors at 530 pm, meal at 6 pm. The night includes traditional Karen delicacies including handcrafted samosas, a short program including music and dance, and a cash bar.
