About this Event
This in-person event is sponsored by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
Federal rules are phasing down hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants (HFCs), restricting the use of HFCs in new systems, and establishing new rules for management and reuse.
This free, 4-hour training is tailored to food retailers with supermarket refrigeration systems. A Minneapolis College HVAC-R instructor will cover:
· Existing and new rules for refrigerant use and management
· Compliance strategies
· Technologies to meet new requirements and reduce refrigerant use (A2Ls, natural refrigerants, leak detection equipment)
