Join us for our next Refresh Retreat on WEDNESDAY, February 4th. Refresh Retreats are a collaborative work that carry on the ministry of The Budapest Garden House led by Jeanni Shepherd. Each month we create space for global workers, local believers, and guests to step away from the busyness of life and reconnect deeply with Jesus.
*** February's retreat offers an extended reflection on God's movement in one's life in 2025 (it's not too late!) and gives space to consider some personal, Spirit-led intentions for 2026. A selection of past guided retreats are always available as well.
What to expect: Our day begins together as we center our hearts on God allowing us to move into unhurried, personal time with Him. We reconnect in fellowship over a one hour lunch, then return to more time to communion with the Lord, and finish by gathering again for brief sharing and prayer.
We’ll have coffee, tea, morning breads, lunch, and sweet treats as usual. A suggested donation of 2500 HUF is appreciated, but please come even if you can’t contribute at this time.
To help us plan well for the meal, please RSVP by February 1st. If you decide to come after that date, just contact Jennifer Mathews (+36 20 270 0413)—we’d love to include you if possible!
***Please note that with winter well upon us, outdoor spaces are not an option. We will need to limit the number of retreat participants to 20 persons.

The house is located on a portion of the street that is one-way. Therefore it is best to approach the house by way of Tárnoki Út. If you prefer to come by way of Balatoni Út (Rt 7), you can find some parking on Fürdő Utca until it becomes one way at the intersection of Koronafürt Ut. At that point the road becomes one way. You can turn left or right and park on Koronafürt Ut. and walk a short distance to our house.
The house is yellow with a white brick and yellow exterior wall.
