The Reforesting Scotland Gathering is an annual get together to visit, discuss and plan projects putting back Scotland's forest cover and culture. Every year we visit a different part of Scotland and this year we'll be in the catchment of the beautiful River Findhorn on the Moray coast.Highlights of the Gathering include the Buildings Tour, looking at the best in timber-built and forest-related architecture in the area, the Soapbox, a rapid-fire introduction to projects and ideas that plants seeds for the rest of the Gathering, the visits to inspiring local projects and the many opportunities for socialising including the Saturday night ceilidh.
Our keynote speaker will be Alan Watson Featherstone, the founder of Trees for Life. Alan is a deep thinker about natural and human restoration, rooted in decades of practical experience. Other speakers will be posted on our website as they are confirmed.
