Calling all Crestwood artists, writers, dancers, musicians, and film makers!All Crestwood students are encouraged to participate in the annual PTA Reflections Contest. This national creative arts program encourages students from pre-K through 5th grade to express themselves by creating original works in the following categories:
VISUAL ARTS * PHOTOGRAPHY * LITERATURE * DANCE * MUSIC COMPOSITION * FILM PRODUCTION
WHERE TO START?
You will create something within the theme. This year’s theme is Accepting Imperfection Write a short artist statement explaining your ideas. Then, create a piece of art, compose a song, write a poem, take a photo, create a short film, or choreograph a dance! Be creative!
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK
Submissions will be accepted until 4:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024. You can drop off your submission in the front office.
Please make sure your entry form is complete, including your artist statement, and taped to the back of the entry. Please do not put student names on the work itself to allow for anonymity during judging.
AWARDS
All Reflections participants will be recognized at Crest Fest. Winners in each category will also receive a special award and gift card, be featured in the yearbook and have the chance to go on the state & national PTA contests! We can’t wait to see what you create!
