With our busy, hectic lives, we often struggle to slow and really listen to what we need. Amber, from therapeutic spaces, is offering monthly, outdoor, reflective sessions which will allow you a space to slow, reflect, rest and replenish.The intention of these sessions is to create a restful and reflective space, dedicated to you slowing down and taking care of yourself. Each session will have a different theme. For example, slowing the busy mind, self-care, gratitude, simplicity, self-compassion. You will be offered guided practices such as mindful walking, forest bathing, sit spots to help you connect with the intention of the morning, along with facilitated, reflective sharing spaces. We’ll spend most of our time outdoors – in the woods, by the water and sitting around the communal fire.
Amber has been a counsellor and group facilitator for nearly thirty years. She has a Masters degree in mindfulness and is a mindfulness teacher. Her nurturing guidance will facilitate you through an immersive process, with an intention to reduce stress, quieten the mind and enhance your overall wellbeing.
Whether you are new to self-reflection, outdoor therapeutic spaces and mindfulness, or seeking to deepen your practice, these sessions are intended for everyone. Please be aware, however, that these are not counselling sessions.
These sessions are usually held on Saturdays but this is a special Tuesday evening session. There is another evening session on the 8th October and the upcoming Saturday sessions are on the 19th October and 9th November.
