One night per month, the Reeves Open Mic is turning into a songwriter competition! Bring your friends, because we'll have one winner based on audience vote. After 5 songwriter nights, we'll have a showcase featuring all five winners plus one wildcard performer chosen by the Reeves Open Mic staff! The winner of each showcase wins a spot on The Martha Bassett Show, plus more prizes TBD. There will be two showcases per year, and you can't win more than once. Showcase winners will be determined by industry professionals, Reeves Open Mic staff, and an audience vote.
All Songwriter Nights are FREE to play and FREE to watch.
RULES:

Prepare at least 1 and no more than 3 songs, or a total of 15 minutes. We may need to cut down to 10 minutes/2 songs if the list is full.
All music played must be your original songs. (Covers are still welcome at other open mic nights).
If you have more than two performers, or any more complicated instrumentation, please reach out to the Open Mic Staff or email [email protected]. Keep in mind, this is songwriter night, not a battle of the bands.
