About this Event
Join the and for Reels for Meals, a night of food, film, and fun on Thursday, July 18th at in Boulder. It features "," a French feast of a film starring Juliette Binoche.
This fundraiser is intended to enable the Festival to screen future films and support Meals on Wheels Boulder, which provides nutritious meals and a daily well-being check to Boulder residents.

The Reels for Meals fundraiser consists of the following events.
Enjoy:
- 5pm: Soiree with bites from top Boulder restaurants, cash bar, reserved seats for the film screening, and live music from Jeff Reid
- 6:30: Film screening of this 2024 classic culinary film
For all attendees, Reels for Meals will also include the following features.
- Pre-film: Omelet-making demonstration
- Post-film: Discussion with food journalist John Lehndorff of and KGNU Community Radio; Julien Jeannot, Executive Chef and owner of Jeannot Patisserie and Bistro in Lafayette, Colorado; and other speakers.
Ticket: $55 for soiree, $25 for screening-only

Film
"The Taste of Things" is a feature film that depicts the love affair between a French gourmand and the expert cook who is his muse. Set in 1889 and starring Juliette Binoche, the movie includes mouth-watering sumptuous scenes of culinary artistry. An appreciation of food's transcendence permeates this food cinema classic," France's nominee for the 2024 Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
