The Reel Queer Film Festival returns to Central Arkansas on August 21, 2025! Help us celebrate the evening *before* the festival by kicking things off with a FREE poetry open mic & hangout night at Argenta's Crush Wine Bar sponsored by Sibling Rivalry Press--and YOU are invited to participate! Sign up at the door or by emailing [email protected] to snag YOUR slot to share your work. LGBTQ+ poets, authors, artists, and performers are welcome, as are allies!
Everyone is also invited to share what LGBTQ+ films impacted them - their first memories, what your favorite movies are and why, movie stars who first stole your heart - and who steals your heart now. It will be laid back, fun, and a chance to connect with your arts community!
This is a safe space for art, friendship, sharing, and conversation. Plus, we'll preview the films of the Reel Queer Film Festival!
