Something different from Firejam here, and something we're going to be pushing more in the new year.
These new events will be showcasing some of Bristols best up and coming women and LGBTQ+ artists within electronic music.
Firejam has become known for guitar, folk and punk based acts but when we throw our after parties at our festival area next year (? keep eyes peeled) we'll be turning up the tempo and the bass but will continue promote diverse lineups. So thought we'd get started now with an evening showcase of beats and bass.

Joining us for the evening we have...
REE - www.campsite.bio/ree
Songwriter and producer Ree, reflects upon how interpersonal relationships are contorted by digital media in her debut release, Ree96. The familiar chimes & soundbites of the OS-driven user experience meld with her songwriter’s confessional habit like an open-source diary.
Ree plans to do it all but is struggling to log into Splice as she’s forgotten her password and can’t convince the CAPTCHA she’s human.

DJ AMMI - www.soundcloud.com/user-662218532/jungle-old-skool-rollers-vinyl-mix
Bristol based Vinyl selecta, DJ Ammi is known for her Dubstep and Old Skool DnB sets.
So far she has graced the dancefloor of Bristol venues such as Blue Mountain, Old Crown Courts, Crofter’s Rights and Lakota.

FKHIA - www.linktr.ee/fKHIA
Started making music at a young age, exploring jazz and soul genres, and attended her course in music production at BIMM in 2018. The melodic background she had gained beforehand allows her to create beats that are driven by melody, and have an organic taste in the choice of her sound.
The textural quality of her productions led her to be a composer for the original documentary “Vint - I - vuit” and a sound designer for theatre west in their original play “ Everyone is dead”, that was greatly reviewed by the public.
Her production of Dubstep music allowed her to become a pro in sound design and sound manipulation, skills that she has put in place in sound for games.
