This specialized printmaking technique allows for the creation of richly layered, multi-colored prints from a single block of wood. Over the course of this three day workshop, participants will explore the step-by-step process of carving, printing, and re-carving a woodblock to build vibrant and complex images. With Rimer’s expert guidance and deep knowledge of traditional and contemporary print practices, students will gain both technical skills and conceptual insights.
