Full-Day Shibari Experience: A Journey into Rope Bondage

Welcome to a day of exploration and connection in the captivating world of Shibari! Immerse yourself in a series of in-person events designed to take you from the basics to more advanced techniques. Each event can be purchased individually, but if you choose both courses, enjoy a $10 discount by selecting the "All Day Pass."

Event Schedule:

Shibari 101: Introduction to Shibari for Beginners (10 am - 12 pm)
Dive into the enchanting world of Shibari with our Introduction to Shibari for Beginners. Whether you're alone or with a partner, this course will guide you from ground zero to understanding the fundamentals and experiencing the beauty of Japanese-style rope bondage. Explore safety and consent principles, rope handling skills, essential Shibari knots and ties, and an elegant Shibari figure.

Shibari 102: Advanced Beginners Workshop (1 pm - 3 pm)
It's necessary to come with a partner for this advanced beginners workshop. Delve into the artistry of Shibari by learning two intricate patterns that involve tying hands. Participants are expected to have basic tying knowledge, including a single column tie, double column tie, and familiarity with at least one pattern.

Important Notes about workshops:

• Timeliness is crucial. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to uphold the quality of instruction.
• Language : The course can be bilingual, conducted in both French and English. Let us know in advance if you need translation into French.
• Ropes : Bring your own ropes (two 8m-10m, 5-6mm diameter, preferably natural ropes like Jute or Hemp). 2-3 Ropes of 8m are needed for the Shibari 102 workshop.

Shibari Jam: Floor Play Session (3 pm - 5 pm)
Conclude the day with a relaxed Shibari Jam, where you can explore and practice floor work with the ropes. Whether you’re tying or being tied, this open session allows you to experiment in a safe, supportive environment.
No prerequisites are needed, and this session is exclusively focused on floor play, with no suspension elements. Admission is limited to those with a valid Eventbrite ticket.

• This event operates on a "Pay What You Want" basis. Simply book your ticket on Eventbrite and settle your contribution on-site directly.
• Limited Spaces: To ensure an intimate and engaging experience, attendance is limited. We kindly ask that attendees come prepared to participate rather than observe.
• Interactive Session: This is a hands-on event; attendees are encouraged to actively participate, practice, and engage with others.
• Guidance and Support: I'll be present to participate, offer assistance, answer questions, and provide guidance as needed.
• No Equipment Rental: Participants are required to bring their own ropes.
• Floor Play Jam: This event exclusively focuses on Shibari floor play, with no suspension elements.
• Ticket Requirement: Only individuals with a valid Eventbrite ticket will be admitted. Please ensure you have your ticket with you for entry.
