This is a 5-month accelerator, focused on the key components of a Redemptive Nonprofit: Story, Programs, Team, Board, Funding, and Identity.
About this Event

You serve a non-profit agency as a staff or director because you feel called to make a difference. But how do you really know all of your efforts are having a measurable, and more importantly, a redemptive impact? How can you ensure that your agency is still on the trajectory you were called to, that your team is on the same page, and that you have the tools you need for both innovation and sustainability? How do you get beyond institutional survival to thriving as a redemptive organization?

The Redemptive Impact Accelerator is a 14-week cohort designed for Executive Directors and staff of faith-based Non-Profit or Community Benefit Organizations (CBOs) who realize that they want to be more focused on redemptive impact. The time together (which includes lunch) will focus on redemptive perspectives and practices, and foundational skills sets for sustainability and innovation. It will expose you to content experts and practitioners with significant track records, as well as facilitate insightful interaction between you and your inter-agency peers regarding implementation. We will cover:

1. Identity – Organizational North Star, Mission, Theory of Change

2. Crafting a Compelling Story, key components of storytelling, communications

3. Strengthening programs via evaluation, sustainability, scalability, design thinking, metrics, impact measurement

4. Building a strong team, including onboarding and staff development, board & ED development

5. Collaboration and Partnerships

6. Fundraising, and impact measurement, communications, grants, donors, contracts

7. Reflection and Action Planning Cycle

Participation is limited to teams of two persons from ten organizations (Non-Profit, CBO or Church). Only two cohorts are offered each year.

The training starts with a Thursday night dinner on January 25, 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm, followed by a full day of training on Friday, January 26, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm (breakfast and lunch included), and half day on Saturday, January 27, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm (breakfast and lunch included). Subsequent trainings occur every Friday, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm with breakfast and lunch included from February 2 - May 10.
