Join us for a patriotic costume party supporting Friends of the Troops, a local non-profit that supports, encourages, and honors Veterans and members of the United States Armed Forces. We'll be making cards, writing letters, and coloring pictures to show our love and appreciation to the brave men and women defending our freedoms. The cards will be sent to them in time for Armed Forces Day. We encourage everyone to dress up like patriotic characters or in patriotic colors, as we would love to take pictures and include those with the cards.Please bring a finger food to share with the group. (No peanut products, please.) We'll be meeting in the Fellowship Hall.
No supplies are needed unless you want to bring your own markers, colored pencils, crayons, etc.
