When: Saturday, June 7th
Time: 10am-2:30pm
Part 1: 10am - 12pm
10:00-Meet/Greet at Levee Park across from the Red Wing Depot (420 Levee Street, Red Wing MN 55055). Look for sketchers with USk signs.
-Sketch the riverfront area, farmer’s market, Levee park, and other things of interest
11:45- Gather back at Levee Park for sketch book throw down/group photo.
Part 2: 12:00 - 2:30 pm
12:00 - Sketchers gather for lunch (examples- Hanisch Bakery and Coffee shop and Mandy’s Coffee and Cafe are located on W. 3rd St. Other eateries are also nearby) and more sketching...
-Sketch downtown Red Wing
2:15- Sketch book throw down/group photo- Meet at the fountain at John Rich Park (315 W. 4th St), located between Main Street and W. 3rd Street and East and West avenues.
2:30- Head back home or stay longer for more sketching, ice cream at a shop, and hanging out!
If you're planning to take Amtrak, please purchase train tickets at your own risk. There's always a cancellation possibility (like last year due to thunderstorms/flooding in Red Wing).
