Welcome to the Red, White & Blue Gala: A Salute to Our Veterans! Join us for a special evening dedicated to honoring our brave veterans. This event is your chance to show your appreciation and support for those who have served our country. Get ready for a night of patriotism, tributes, and gratitude. Come dressed in your finest [red, white, and blue] attire and be part of this memorable celebration. Let's come together to honor and thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice!
Be prepared to walk the red carpet, stop and pose for a picture at the photo booth, peruse the multiple silent auction items - don't forget to bid on some fantastice items! There will also be live auction, paddle raise, 50/50 split.
Our Emcee for the eveing is Portland and Vancouver's own Tim Taylor. If you have been in the Pacific NW for any amount of time, chances are you have heard his voice on the Radio. Tim is currently the voice of the afternoon show on The Wolf, wher he plays the most music and brings his brand of fun.
Let me introduce you to our keynote speaker Mr. Daniel Sitterly. Mr. Sitterly began his career in the Air Force as an enlisted member in 1976. He was commissioned in 1985 and then served as a combat service support officer through 2003. Since then he has held many positions to include:
- Assistant Secretary for Human Resources, Administration, Operation, Security and Readiness - Headquarters Veteran Affairs, Washington D.C. 2019-2021
- Principal Deputy (and acting) Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs - Headquarters United States Air Force, Pentagon, Washington D.C.2014-2019.
- Deputy Director, Air Force Staff -Headquarters United States Air Foce - Pentagon, Washington D.C. 2012-2014
