Red Watch Band is a university sponsored mandated training that is put on through the Center for Student Wellness and Health Promotion.
About this Event

A ll Red Watch Band sessions will be held twice a day in the evening, in person, for 18 sessions. This training is delivered by Peer Wellness Educators from the Center for Student Wellness and Health Promotion. Sessions will run approximately 45 minutes to an hour and will require students to complete a pre and post assessment. Sessions will be available as follows, please register for one session day and time only:

  • Mon., Sept. 2nd @ 5:30pm and 7:30pm, AMU Rm #157
  • Tues., Sept. 3rd @ 5:30pm Lunda Room and 7:30pm AMU Rm #163
  • Wed., Sept. 4th @ 5:30pm and 7:30pm, AMU Rm #157
  • Mon., Sept. 9th @ 5:30pm and 7:30pm, AMU Rm #157
  • Tues., Sept. 10th @ 5:30pm and 7:30pm, AMU Rm #163
  • Wed., Sept. 11th @ 5:30pm and 7:30pm, AMU Rm #157
  • Sun., Sept. 15th @ 3:00pm AMU Rm 157 and 5:30pm, AMU Rm #163
  • Mon., Sept. 16th @ 5:30pm and 7:30pm, AMU Rm #157
  • Tues., Sept. 17th @ 4:30pm and 5:30pm, Marquette Hall #100
    Red Watch Band is a comprehensive bystander intervention program that is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and awareness to prevent acute intoxication. This training is mandated for all first year students; if you do not complete the training, a hold will be placed on your account for Spring registration.

Upon completion, swing by the Center for Student Wellness and Health Promotion in Suite 130 of the 707 Building for a free t-shirt.
