Join Reggio's School Community as we plan for our annual 'field trip' for the 2024 Red Shoe Shuffle, hosted by Maryland's beautiful Ronald McDonald House!Date: April 14th | Sunday

Meeting Location: TBD From Event Staff (parking location close to Aisquith St in Baltimore City)

Who can come: family, friends, co-workers, EVERYONE (very stroller/wagon accessible!)
Attire: Your best RED Spirit Wear (race shirts will be given out before race day as a thank you for registration! open to team gear we can show up with as well, suggestions?! matching socks or hats?!)
The Ronald McDonald House in Baltimore has fundraising efforts every year to make sure they have funds to serve children who are receiving treatments in our city, helping all children and their families stay close for free so they can access the top rated medical specialists that Baltimore is home to. One of the ways RMH does this is by including the community to connect to the house directly, being a part of the party. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore hosts the happiest morning in Maryland, The Red Shoe Shuffle!
This family-friendly '5k' course invites the whole town to shut down in the best way. The 'race' starts at the Ronald McDonald House and takes Shufflers through downtown Baltimore along Harbor East and back up to the Big Heart at the House (did you know that heart in our city's skyline was this incredible organization?). While some runners take this race seriously, most in attendance are simply parading with their teams to enjoy the party that RMH is putting on casually with their strollers & wagons. The Red Shoe Shuffle is put on to become a city-wide fundraiser and one of the most colorful and fun mornings you'll ever stroll through with your family.
Because Reggio has a huge community, we come together every year to show support for children and families in our very own neighborhood that could benefit from our unmatched school spirit.
Our school has created a shuffling team "ReggioHeartsRMH".
Together we will get all spirited out (like we know how!), travel up to this party as a team, and enjoy the beautiful morning walking this beautiful course side by side!
After the race, we can plan to stick around for 'Celebration Village', which will have fun activities for all ages, food vendors, live music, and special guests!
All registered Shufflers will receive a special race-day running shirt and plus some great RMH Shuffle swag. Your registration alone will help with RMH's fundraising efforts with the Red Shoe Shuffle. Unable to make it? You can help us with our fundraising goal of $1000 for this cause by April 14th!
**Ms. Schoolman is proudly taking care of retrieving all race day shirts for families and will deliver them to Reggio to have for this morning to make it easier!
