About this Event
You’ve taken the important step of completing a living will — but have you had the conversation with the people who matter most? Or do you still need to take the important step to create a living will document?
Join us for A Five Wishes Workshop on Meaningful Conversations, designed for both individuals who have already documented their healthcare preferences but haven’t fully shared or discussed them with family, loved ones, or healthcare agents; as well as those who are interested in learning how to create a living will document for the first time.
This workshop focuses on the "human side" of advance care planning — the emotional clarity, relational trust, and honest dialogue that make your wishes truly known and respected.
During this interactive 90-minute session, you’ll:
- Revisit your existing living will through the lens of Five Wishes or explore creating a document from scratch
- Reflect on personal values and how they guide medical and emotional preferences
- Learn practical ways to start or deepen conversations with loved ones
- Practice language that helps remove fear or awkwardness around end-of-life discussions
- Gain confidence in ensuring your plan is not just written, but understood
Whether you’ve been meaning to talk with your family or want to ensure your healthcare proxy really knows what matters, this workshop will help bridge the gap between paperwork and peace of mind.
All materials provided.
