Our shop has been hosting the annual Red Rocks River Run since 2008. This year, we want to make it a real adventure!On April 21st we will be hosting an Adventure Poker Run Ride to the Blu Pig in Moab for lunch between 12-2 PM .
We will be starting at the Fruita Visitor Center at 8:30, kickstands up at 9:00.
Entry fee is $20 per rider ($5 for each extra hand). Entry fee includes lunch at the Blu Pig on Sunday.
This ride will be a self-guided poker run in the Iron Butt format.
We will be posting two different routes with multiple options to collect points for your hand. At registration we will give you a trinket that you will need to include in a photo at each location to prove you were there. Each location will have different point values to be redeemed for playing cards at the Blue Pig. The Easy Route will have 7 available locations to collect a total of 9 points. Each point is worth 1 card towards a 5-card hand.
There will be options suitable for all skill levels and adventure worthy motorcycles. The routes will be shared via Google Maps.
Pre-registering the day prior to the ride (Saturday, April 20th) gets you an extra hand and you can skip the Visitors Center.

Camera required, as your photos of each location will prove that you arrived there. You will be given a trinket at the start and your trinket will need to be shown in each of your photos.
Cards will be awarded as follows.
1. Start of Ride: 1 card
2. State Line on Old Hwy 6 (easy gravel): 1 card
3. Buzzard Belly General Store (must make a purchase): 1 card
4. Old homestead off Windy Mesa Rd: 2 cards
*Windy Mesa is an improved gravel road, graded. Just before the homestead there is a wash that can be somewhat tricky and turning around after the was is quite sandy, so you can turn around before the wash and take your photo from there, if you prefer.
5. Ghost town of Sego: 2 cards
*one card for the Cemetery and one card for the Old Bank.
6. Willow Springs Dinosaur Tracks BLM sign: 1 wildcard
*Willow Springs Rd is a graded desert route that might be ambitious for some. A few sandy sections, including deep sand where it crosses Courthouse Wash. Courthouse Wash is the difficult route
7. Blu Pig BBQ (South side Moab): 1 card
Additional moderate options for more cards:
• Green River Missile Site: 5 cards
*Must have photos of both the Launch Pad and 5-ton Crane
• Crystal Geyser: 4 cards
Advanced options for the more adventuresome riders. Worth 3 cards each:
• Uranium camp on Owl Draw Rd
• Arches NP gate Salt Valley Rd
• Arches NP gate Willow Springs Rd
• Arches NP gate Courthouse Wash (very deep sand!)
