🔥Red Light District Festival🔥One of the boldest live showcases takes over the city centre during the shopping weekend. Thanks to The Meadow & Café Café, four empty storefronts transform into red-lit stages, hosting 16 bands and 8 DJs who perform live behind the glass. Welcome to the Red Light District Festival!

Half of the spots are awarded through B.O.T.A. (Battle of the Artists), The Meadow’s talent platform. The other half are awarded through a qualified jury. Apply, get selected, and perform for the city.

The vote is in the streets!
Festival visitors in Hasselt pick their favourites. The top 2 bands and top DJ win a greenscreen recording session for virtual use and a Café Café support slot later this year.
More than music:
Visit Café Café (Meldertstraat 40) for the pop-up metaverse studio, live DJ recordings for The Meadow, and a roaming promo team with QR codes to join the virtual experience.
