Two red heads, Lauren and Poppy intend to create a healing space where you can turn your experiences with accessing healthcare and bodily conditions into tangible collage.
Themes surrounding gaslighting GPs, maddening misogyny, painful periods, better bodily-autonomy and empowerment.
Bring materials if you have any you wish to use, but materials will be available, no experience necessary!
This workshop is in the Cooper Gallery venue in Dundee, featuring current exhibition Grace Ndiritu: Compassionate Rebels in Action, which aims to "equip individuals and communities with vital tools for fostering empathy and dialogue in a world suffering the rise of multiple fascisms."
Content warning - some topics on the nature of women's health and medical treatment may be distressing to some attendees, though the environment will be supportive and creative.
