Red Dawn Narrative CampaignSaturday May 10th
3 2-1/2 hour rounds beginning at 1100; lunch between first and second round
Sunday May 11th
One massive multi player battle beginning at 1230 until complete or 1730 whichever comes first.
20.00 entry fee. 3.00 of which goes to the store the rest is allocated for prizes. More than likely in the form or store credit and posters.
Not a Tournament but there will still be placings and prizes for the following:
Best overall Blufor Player
Best overall Redfor Player
Best sport (Participant voted)
Best Painted
85 point forces (dynamic points)
No force or nationality restrictions
Narrative based forces will receive additional points to overall score. Narrative based forces are any from the following nations:
American
Canadian
British
West German
Soviet
Cuban
Only fully painted forces will be considered for best painted. Miniatures are considered fully painted if a minimum of three colors are used. Players with fully painted forces will also receive additional points to their overall score.
Additional Narrative rules in play
NBC Environment (will be rolled for at the start of a battle in some territories)- impacts Morale, Saves, armor ratings, remount, movement and visibility
Firestorm Troops- Troops that can be allocated to a territory to participate in the battle as additional support for that specific game. will be provided by the TO and include MBT platoons, ADA, Artillery and Infantry units to name a few.
With the Narrative rules in play there will be no rankings submitted after the event.
Participants will receive some unique items to include objective markers and stance cards.
