Contra NYC 2025 calls the Red Case Band "an electrifying deep-space groove party machine.” They are: Clara Constance (violin, harp), Alex Cumming (accordion, keyboard), Max Newman (guitar, mandolin), Stuart Kenney (upright bass, banjo), Matt Kenney (percussion). Annie Kidwell is well known for their engaging instruction and ability to create a joyful space for both new and experienced dancers.WHEN:

The basics:
- When someone asks you to dance, you can choose to say “Yes” or “No thank you,” no explanation needed.
- Before you dance with your partner, discuss your role preferences and any physical preferences/limitations.
- Dance in a way that’s comfortable for your partner and neighbors. Respect other peoples' boundaries.
- If someone makes you feel physically or emotionally uncomfortable, let them know. If you need help, tell a safety team member wearing a green ribbon.
- Our dance is alcohol, drug, and smoke free.

COVID policy:
Masks optional but appreciated. Windows will be open with fans for ventilation. If you have any cold or flu symptoms, please stay home and we'll see you next dance.
