Reuse your yard waste into decomposing organic matter returning nutrients to the soil in a form that plants may efficiently utilize.About this Event
About this event
Landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, and raking contribute to the health of your landscape but also generate yard waste. Keep as much of this material on-site as possible to conserve nutrients and limit the energy needed to transport it. Decomposing organic matter returns nutrients to the soil in a form that plants may efficiently utilize. Using yard waste for composting is a sustainable method of producing organic fertilizer.
Join us to learn this technique and implement it in your garden!
