The City of Overland Park shredding/recycling events are terrific fundraisers for KCREGAP and we need your help!!! Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers!Location:

This is an important fundraiser for KCREGAP. The donations from this event are important to providing care for the greyhounds.
WE NEED YOU TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
KCREGAP Volunteers run the paper shredding station and fill a number of roles:
- Greeting cars and directing traffic
- Lifting bags and boxes of paper (for shredding) from vehicles to deposit in shredding bins
- Talking with patrons about KCREGAP and requesting per box donations for the free shredding service. This involves explaining that the shredding volunteers are all from KCREGAP and that donations help support KCREGAP.
- All volunteers have a great opportunity to talk about our greys!
This is a family appropriate volunteer event. Kids can be great at greeting cars and requesting donations. They will need to be old enough to work a full shift and to safely navigate the traffic. Kids as young as 9 years old have done well (with parental supervision and guidance). This event would also be appropriate for older students looking to serve community service hours for school.
