More about our host; Jacob Stevens: He is a 1999 Graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. Jacob has previously worked for General Motors, ConAgra Foods, Frito Lay and Eaton. He was the Plant Manager of the MRF (Material Recovery Facility) on Pontiac Street with Republic Services from 2019-2024. Jacob started with GFL in December of 2024 as the Recycling Commodity Coordinator. Part of his job is partnering with the city of Fort Wayne to educate about recycling, and to increase participation in the existing program.
