With Pro Bono Economics reporting a skills and vacancies vacuum in the social sector with the proportion of vacant roles doubling between 2011 and 2022, and persistently vacant roles have more than tripled (57%). Reports from organisations like Think Consulting reporting on the challenges since June '23 - there's a lot to talk about!

This session in detail:

The session will start with a discussion between the experience of hiring managers and applicants from different organisations. We will share some interesting research and insight on the recruitment landscape and you can share your own experience or ask those responsible for recruitment or those applying, questions. We would love to hear about your experiences!

We will then break into smaller discussion groups to review some vacancies together, feeding back on the pro's and con's of the adverts and then sharing the insight - which ones had to be extended or re-advertised and which ones made appointments.

The final section of this session will focus on our friendly recruiters who will share some top tips for the Charities that they represent and for Applicants looking for their dream fundraising role. There will be an opportunity for Q&A.
