About this Event
The Recovery Street Film Festival (RSFF) was established ten years ago to give people with lived experience of recovering from drug, alcohol and gambling issues, and their loved ones, the opportunity to share their story with the public.
Throughout this time, their honest stories of recovery, hope and transformation have been seen by well over one million people, helping us towards our aim of reducing the societal stigma surrounding recovery.
Our theme for RSFF 2024 is "belonging". This year's film submissions explore what identity and belonging mean within recovery. What does it mean to feel safe, part of community, to have a voice and be heard. When is that not the case.
Each year we receive an exceptional of highly creative and diverse submissions to the film competition. Join us for a screening of the full shortlist at the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield, with special guest speakers and an award ceremony to crown the top three filmmakers of RSFF 2024!
Recovery Street Film Festival is a non-profit, volunteer-led initiative. Each year there is a high demand for tickets and unfortunately capacity is limited. If you reserve a ticket and later realise you are unable to attend, please let us know by emailing [email protected], so that we can reissue your ticket to someone else.
