About this Event
Living a new life in recovery gives us the perfect opportunity to rekindle our creative spark. Songwriting is an amazing way to process your journey of recovery and meet other creatives. In this 2 hour workshop we will learn basic ukelele chords, songwriting techniques, create together, support one another, and meet some lifelong friends!
Recovery can mean many things - recovery from trauma, from substance misuse, mental health struggles and more. We welcome may recovery journeys and do not require abstinence-based recovery to be in this space.
Join us at The Community Impact Center in Fort Collins on the First Thursdays of each month for this one of a kind free creative workshop (525 West Oak St., Fort Collins, CO)hosted by The Yarrow Collective and Colorado Artists in Recovery (CAiR).
This is a safe, all inclusive space to explore. You do not need experience in songwriting or ukelele to benefit from this experience. Our facilitator Nat Stiles has created a unique and fun songwriting experience for all levels. All pathways of recovery are welcome here!
