The Great Circle Alliance welcomes three talented artists from Ohio's Removed Tribes, Holli Margell (Eastern Shawnee), Dani Tippman (Miami), and Travis Mammedaty (Seneca-Cayuga.) Join us on Indigenous Peoples Day 2024 as the visiting artists share their artistic practices, expressions of their tribal traditions, values, and cultural background. The artists will visit and reconnect with the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks and other significant sites in Ohio, as part of an early program in Ohio’s America 250 Celebrations. Later they will create artwork as a personal response to reconnecting to their homelands.
