About this Event
This class will be an overview of how farming is in many ways the same as running a small business. It will also examine the ways in which farming differs from running a classic small business. Participants will be provided with basic accounting information and record keeping templates that can help collect needed data from your farming season. General field records and best practices will also be examined and templates provided. The topic of organic certification and record keeping will also be touched on in this session.
