About this Event

LUV is Cool (in conjunction with NoWords.Space), has designed a series of workshops to write poetry and share our written works of art with attendees. Building healthy communities has been our driver as we continue the effort of developing opportunities to share stories and create art. This event will focus on our favorite lyrics, what they mean to us in our lives and are given the opportunity to write our own...as prose.

As a means to reconstruct perspectives, the three workshops we offer, poetry/performance art, visual art and gardening work in-tandem to provide outlets for people to express themselves creatively and participate as a group. This summer, we are hosting a summer garden series of poetry workshops that have been designed to celebrate existing garden spaces around the Washington, DC area.

This event takes place at the Children's Garden a mile from the column sculpture structure overlooking the wading pool. There will be signs to direct you to the location.
