Recognise & Interrupt Technology Abuse Training for CALD Service Providers

Proudly funded by the Mackay Community Foundation, and delivered by leading specialist security service Concentric Concepts, the Mackay Integrated Services Team (MIST) is hosting a practical session to assist service providers in the Mackay area to raise awareness about technology facilitated abuse, and support CALD victim-survivors of DFV to be able to use technology safely and free from abuse.

• Location and share settings
• Spyware and application-based tracking
• iCloud and Google operating systems
• Factory resetting and passwords
• Myths and truths about technology facilitated abuse

3. Safety planning with people experiencing technology facilitated abuse.
