A Systems Improvement and Equity Approach to Addressing the Needs of Dually Identified Students
About this Event

This virtual professional development session is designed for Special Education, General Education, and English Language Development (ELD) specialists. The focus will be on providing comprehensive support for English learners (ELs) within the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework. Participants will gain insights into the pre-referral and special education referral processes for ELs to better support and understand the Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements.

Special Education Providers and Teachers
Special Education Administrators
Site Administrators
School Psychologists
Other school staff who conduct special education assessments and support students dually identified as having an IEP and are English Langauge Learners.

Registered participants should bring their own devices/ note taking materials.

Registered participants will receive a calendar invitation from SELPA that will hold the virtual meeting details and presentation materials.
