Norway House Cree Nation is excited to host the 3rd Annual Reclaiming Our Future Economic Development Conference in Winnipeg on September 26th and 27th!
September 26th: This day is dedicated exclusively to Indigenous youth. Participants will engage in workshops and training sessions designed to build and enhance their business pitch presentation skills. They will receive guidance from experienced mentors and industry experts, participate in hands-on activities and practice their pitches in a supportive environment. The day will culminate with the Wolves Den Business Pitch Competition, where youth will pitch their innovative ideas live to a panel of judges for a chance to win exciting prizes and support for their business ventures.
September 27th: This day features open registration for the Indigenous business community and allies interested in learning more about Indigenous economic development. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions. We are excited to welcome Carol Anne Hilton as our keynote speaker, who will share her insights on economic reconciliation and sustainable development. During lunch, we will announce the winners of the Wolves Den Business Pitch Competition, celebrating the innovative ideas and hard work for our youth participants. This day promises to be a valuable experience for all attendees, providing knowledge, inspiration, and opportunities for collaboration.
