Reclaiming Life: Thriving in a Digital World is a four-week journey designed to help you navigate the challenges of a tech-driven culture with wisdom, purpose, and faith.Drawing from biblical principles and key insights from The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt and other resources, this class will explore the ways technology influences our mental wellness, relationships, and spiritual lives—and what we can do to foster healthier, more connected communities.
Through practical strategies, engaging discussions, and biblical insights, we will explore:
📱 The impact of digital distractions on faith, relationships, and mental wellness
⏳ The challenge of attention and how to reclaim focus in a hyper-connected world
👨👩👧👦 Raising resilient, faith-filled kids in the digital age
✨ Strategies for living intentionally with technology—rather than being ruled by it
This class will be led by Kate Tuttle, a member of Northminster and a psychologist with a deep passion for faith, community, and human behavior. After earning her B.A. in psychology at Hanover College, Kate received her Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Michigan.
Kate brings both academic expertise and a heart for faith-based community discussions, making this class a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of faith, relationships, and technology in an engaging and thought-provoking way.
This class is for parents, grandparents, and anyone seeking balance in a tech-driven world. Together, we’ll learn how to reclaim presence, purpose, and connection—in our homes, relationships, and faith journeys.
